Miami Dolphins - 2007 Preseason - Game 2

The Miami Dolphins are now 2-0 this preseason with a 11-10 win over Trent Green's former team, the Kansas City Chiefs.  The Pats are 0-2 and the Fish lead the AFC East; hopefully these results carry into the regular season!  Green continues to impress--well compared to the likes Joey Harrington, Jay Fielder, Gus Frerotte, Ray Lucas, Brian Griese, Damon Huard, Jaty Feeley, Sage Rosenfels, Cleo Lemon, and all of the other supposed field generals of the post-Marino era, it's not a difficult thing to do.  The AP Photo by Ed Zurga (see left) is truly reminiscent of Dan Marino himself.  The only question remaining is, are we looking at the Marino of old or just the old Marino?   Well, even the old Marino is better than what Phin fans have been subjected to over the past 7 seasons!

Windows Home Server - Coming to a living room near you ?

With an expected release date of August 27th, Windows Home Server looks to further compliment Microsoft's strategy to dominate the living room. "This smart hub lives in your home and connects all the important people in your life to the good stuff that's on your computers. You can pump your family's tunes to your Xbox 360, share baby pics over the Web, and even get on your home server when you're not home. Friends and family can see and share any files you want, whether they're in another room or another country. Your family's memories stay safer, too, with daily automatic backups that help you recover lost documents (or rescue computers that have had unfortunate accidents). Adding space to the server is also easy. So don't worry about recording too many vacation movies—Windows Home Server will keep growing and getting better. You can find Windows Home Server through retail stores and Web sites in a wide range of new hardware products, starting in the second half of 2007. The final release of Windows Home Server will be available as a tightly integrated hardware and software solution sold by numerous companies." --Microsoft.com

Write SMS Text Messages. Get Pizza.

'If you thought ordering pizza online was the best thing since Deep Dish, you'll be delighted to know that the next logical step in getting pizza to your mouth with minimal effort is here... if you reside in the UK, that is. Reportedly, Dominos is now allowing customers surrounding its 470 UK-based locations to place their orders via SMS, and this move comes after "successful trials" that began in July. To utilize the service, you must first enter in your details online, but after that initial registration, pizza is simply a text away. Impulse eaters, rejoice.'

Halo 3 Hype is reaching a fevered pitch as a worldwide audience awaits the late September 2007 release. Download MP3 Files for Free from ANY MySpace Profile

Wired.com has just put MySpaceMP3.org on blast with the following posting: "In what could become the next big headache for bands and labels who have uploaded their music to MySpace to be streamed but not downloaded, a site called MySpaceMP3.org allows users to enter a band name (or whatever other word a band uses for its myspace.com/[name] URL) and download any of the MP3s hosted on their page for free. The site doesn't host files; MP3s download directly from myspacecdn.com, where MySpace apparently stores music, using lengthy, unique URLs that only work once. Downloaded songs lose their filenames and ID3 tags, so you'd have to rename and retag each song you download. Plus, the MP3s are only encoded at 96 Kbps with a 22.05 kHz sampling rate. But if there's a song on MySpace you've been dying to load onto your MP3 player, even if it involves a little legwork for a lowish-quality result, now's your chance."

Best Buy Adds A Customer Review & 5-Star Ratings System

BestBuy.com has finally added a Netflix-esque five star system that allows site users to rate and review anything available in Best Buy's vast product catalog. Here's hoping that this is just the first step in BestBuy.com's transition to leveraging the collective knowledge of their user community. With such a large and established user base, they should be able to use this information to better target ads to their customers. Best Buy seems to have the best in-store experience with respect to its competitors. But has historically lagged online against the likes of Amazon and CircuitCity--both of which, who have established customer review and ratings systems.

3 easy steps to rate and review a product

1. Click the "Write a review" link on any product page. 2. Sign in to your BestBuy.com account using your e-mail address and password. If you do not have an account, you can create one now. 3. Rate your product and write a review. When you're finished, preview it and submit it.
