As more people from older generations sign up for FB, they talk both more about family, and talk more to family. We see significant increases in all sorts of family related words from 2008 to 2009. While they may appear as small differences in the plot above, "mom", "dad", "son" and "daughter" all at least doubled since the beginning of 2008. Perhaps the most dramatic increase though is in "kids" which went up by a factor of 5! "Family" is up a lot too, with big spikes around all the holidays.
